  • King & Fowler provides enabling contracts to OEM and 1st Tier supply chains to benefit from specification aggregation, improved demand visibility and economies of scale. The enabling contracts allow King & Fowler to commit cost down programmes and pre-agreed service levels.

  • The Knowledge Transfer Partnership with the University of Liverpool is focused on the elimination of waste from internal and external processes.

  • King & Fowler proactively groups part into families to drive resource utilisation and reduce set-up time.

  • King & Fowler operates a 24/7 shift pattern to ensure continuous efficient operation of plant and drive customer service through weekend processing.

  • King & Fowler has created a standalone 24/7 Fast Track facility to drive unrivalled customer service through a dedicated and responsive production team.

  • King & Fowler has separated its order book into Runners, Repeaters and Strangers. Dedicated cells have been developed for all runners. The Repeaters have been grouped into part families whereas the Strangers are processed through the Fast Track facility to prevent impact on resource utilisation.

  • King & Fowler has developed a web-enabled planning & control system - AeroTrac™ - which enables customers to track order status on-line, review key performance measures and request Fast Track delivery dates.

  • The commercial strategy of King & Fowler is to develop partnerships with large 1st tier customers and provide key account management services which include dedicated account managers, pre-agreed service levels, allocated capacity, key account review meetings, on-line AeroTrac™ account and regular transport.
